~About Myself~
My hobbies end up becoming my passions in life, and consume great amounts of time. My love for animals has become my most time consuming hobby since that is what drove me into buying my pug. Who now consumes all my time demanding love and toys! When the pug is not in need of love, my fiance is there to take over in the demand for my attention. Maybe she won't demand as much attention after we're married on December 29, 2007... Probably not...Sorry, I had to find a spot to fit them in here or they wouldn't love me anymore, and an artist can't go unloved!
If I get a break from loving on my fiance and pug, I devote some my time to computers. I grew up playing on the internet, before the days of AOL, I remember praying to get a 28800 connection and memorizing the modem sounds so I could cancel and not waste time...Thank god those days are over! Later I discovered how expensive fixing and upgrading computers were, so I decided to teach myself how to build my own rigs and fix them. Now I spend some of my free time doing local computer repairs and building machines for people to help keep myself fed while I search for work. This also helps keep me up to date on new technology and problems. At some point in my life I got tired of becoming paler and paler due to the lack of sun from spending nights and days on my computer working, surfing, and playing games.
I wanted a new hobby that would make me more rounded as an individual and could be a valuable skill to help me in the future. I had always loved the Mazda Rx-7 because it was a car with a unique engine, something that stood out from the rest. I called around asking if there were any rotary mechanics in my area and after discovering no one would touch the engine due to its differences I decided it was exactly what I wanted. I picked up my first Rx-7 in 2000 and tore it down studying each piece as it came off, and reading what ever material I could find on the vehicle. Now I am proud to say it is completely restored and modified as well as my daily driver and hasn't been touched by anyone other than myself.
When I am not under the hood, I can be found hanging with friends/family playing video games. I love console games that have cooperative play or straight up head to head action. The offline cooperative games have become scarce lately, so most of the time we are playing some fighting game. Since the days of the X-band for the SNES I have been playing fighting games competitively, striving to be the best... Hey! It's in my nature, sorry... I fell in love with Weapon Lord and Killer Instinct on X-band playing players all around the United States and slowly working my way up to the top 10. Now I often find myself playing Street Fighter: Third strike, Tekken 4, or Soul Calibur 2. I am a huge fan of Namco games and usually try to compete in their national tournaments, traveling across the US ranging from Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina seeking competition. A very expensive and time consuming hobby, but an awesome way to meet people with a passion for games.
Well, by now you should know everything about me besides my shoe size... 12... Incase you were wondering... So now you have a pretty good idea of who I am, and probably don't want to ever meet me. But if you read this far you might as well contact me because you have sacrificed this much time getting to know me, and time is money! All you need to do is get in contact with me via e-mail and I will be more than happy to chat with you. Seriously, who you going to choose?! A guy who is a complete nerd and has a tan, or the other dude who is a nerd and probably going to use sick days out the wazoo due to his lack of contact with the world outside. Make the right choice!
